Research students
will report to the media center/ Coullias or Long. Please remember to sign in
or you will be marked absent for the day. Do not sign in for another student or
after the tardy bell without a tardy slip from student services. You will have
five minutes to report to your area. Please email coulliasa@duvalschools.org or longd@duvalschools.org if you plan on being absent. Your grade
will reflect your participation and unexcused absences will reflect grades.
Have fun and
learn each area of the school. Students will be working with teachers in the
classroom, technology, athletics, media, textbooks, student services and the
front office. You will learn about the Destiny program, textbook checkout,
Library/ textbook inventory, school wide technology issues, AV equipment,
student services, guidance, athletics and content areas.
Students are not
permitted to grade papers or view proprietary information.
Students will
work to assist faculty and staff and must wear an ID at all times. The faculty
or staff member will assign a pass that
you must use to leave your designated area.
Students can be
removed from this class if professionalism or attitude disrupts the overall
success of the assigned area. Please see
the media webpage and click on the link to fill in the areas of interest for
the year. Mrs. Long and Mrs. Coullias will determine your assigned area for the
semester.
Please select the
